Purpose/Opportunity:
Our client needed to replace a 10” pipeline crossing the Houston Ship Channel to allow for future growth of the Ship Channel.
Methods:
To address our client’s needs, our engineering and procurement teams worked together to produce a design and specifications for the pipe that would be required. Our procurement team supported our Gulf Coast operations with sourcing the pipe, verifying specifications, and ensuring delivery ahead of schedule.
Results/Benefits:
Our support led to significant benefits for the client. The expedited procurement process enabled the overall project schedule to be reduced by approximately 30 days, allowing the client to place the new pipeline in service ahead of schedule.
