Purpose/Opportunity:
Our client required comprehensive electrical and instrumentation services for their booster station in Caldwell, Ohio. This project presented the challenge of efficiently executing the entire instrumentation and electrical scope, ensuring the seamless installation and operation of all power, instrumentation, and lighting systems within a stringent timeline. Our expertise and dedication ensured that every aspect of the electrical and instrumentation work was completed to the highest standards, meeting the client’s needs and expectations.
Methods:
We deployed a highly skilled team consisting of licensed electricians, journeymen, and apprentices to manage and perform the full instrumentation and electrical scope of the project. This diverse team was essential for addressing the complex needs of this project effectively. Additionally, Strike was also awarded the mechanical scope. Having the responsibility for both mechanical and I&E, we were able to integrate seamlessly through teamwork, enhancing efficiency and ensuring timely project completion.
Results/Benefits:
We successfully completed all critical path work for commissioning ahead of the original schedule, a significant achievement that underscored our team’s efficiency and dedication. The project involved running over 151,000 feet of wire and installing more than 150 instruments. Our efforts ensured not only timely project completion but also improved operational efficiency at this location. This highlights our capability to deliver complex projects under tight schedules, enhancing the overall performance and reliability of the station.
