Baton Rouge Flood Relief

Louisiana experienced devastating and catastrophic flooding in a matter of just a few days' time. Strike responded by sending 20 volunteers, along with the Strike Cook Team, to feed approximately 400 people a day. Collectively, the volunteers worked 1,848 hours, serving breakfast and lunch each day.

March for Babies

March for Babies

This event benefitting the March of Dimes raises awareness and funds for programs helping women to have full term pregnancies and healthy babies. It also supports those that encounter complications at birth, and funds research and new treatments if complications arise. Over 40 Strike employees and family members participated by setting up and taking part in the march. The Strike Cook Team served breakfast to the participants and volunteers on the day of the march.

Montgomery County Food Bank

60 Strike employees volunteered to participate in the "Sort to Support Challenge," sorting enough food in four hours to serve 7,992 meals. As a private non-profit organization, the Food Bank collects and distributes more than 8.1 million pounds of food each year, equating to 6.6 million meals to low-income children, adults, and seniors living in Montgomery County, Texas. Currently, the Food Bank serves an average of 35,000 + individuals each month.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County

Campaign for Change funded and began work on our third home giving employees, their family members, and friends the opportunity to help provide quality, affordable housing for a family in need. Jointly, 300 Strike and Habitat volunteers worked 2,100 hours spanning 13 build days.

Military Care Packages

Campaign for Change organizes an effort to collect, pack, and ship items to deployed service members every year. Together with their families, friends, and even by enlisting the help of other members of our community, employees collected enough items to ship over 800 care packages to service members overseas.

light the night

Light the Night Walk

The Light the Night Walk is an annual event to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and their funding of research to find blood cancer cures. Strike was the first Survivor Parade sponsor for the Montgomery County Walk, and more than 50 Strike employees and their family members participated. Strike employee Erin Cones' three year old son Crew was one of the honored heroes.
