Strike Joins the Eagle Ford Shale Project

The Eagle Ford formation was named after exposures of oil around the small settlement of Eagle Ford, TX. The Eagle Ford shale underlies the Austin Chalk and Edwards Limestone formation and it has the perfect mineralogical makeup for a shale oil and gas play. The recent increases in natural gas production from shale gas formations has resulted from widespread application of two key technologies, horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing. Horizontal drilling lets producers access far more natural gas from relatively thin shale deposits.

With our roots in South Texas, Strike has the perfect match-up of services to provide our customers a distinct competitive advantage in the Eagle Ford region. Strike has formed strategic partnerships with several key Production and Midstream companies. We expect the Eagle Ford to provide vast opportunities for years to come in the region.

Strike is currently providing a full spectrum of services in the Eagle Ford including the following:

  • New Construction: Full field development - gathering, processing and treating facilities, to large diameter pipelines.
  • Integrity: Turnkey in-house make-ready, cleaning, hydrotesting, drying and repairs.
  • Maintenance: Full life-cycle operations and maintenance services for all customer assets.
  • Fabrication: Gas and liquid measurement systems, launchers, receivers, etc.
